Like I said in my last blog, It’s NOT the economy, but it is a spiritual war for the very soul of this nation. The devil is trying every way he can to destroy the USA. Why you may ask? Because for one we stand with Israel and defend that country. Secondly, the USA sends more Missionaries and money to further the Gospel to foreign countries and get the Gospel out to this lost and dying world. That is 2 reasons the devil wants this country to become communist and turn away from God. By deceiving the people into putting the wrong people in office he can delay the plans of God and countless numbers of people will never hear the Gospel and die and go to Hell. In 1992 the catch-phrase of the election was “ It’s the Economy Stupid”. Here we are 16 years later and once again America has cycled into an economic downturn. We have experienced massive economic growth even with the event of 9/11! We have been in a roaring Bull Market in spite of ourselves! Unemployment over the last 7 years has been the lowest in decades but not a lot of buzz on that in the news media either!( Until it has started going back up) Now, according to the news media, we are in a recession. They have been calling it in for the last 18 plus months. Well, I am not participating in it. I am not living by the worlds system. I am in the world but not of the world. Have Faith In God and stand on His Word. Believe what He says and never let go. There are over 7000 promises for people who have made Jesus LORD of their lives!

Today, we as a nation are in a crisis situation. No, not an economic crisis, but instead it is a moral crisis. We face a critical decision in just a few weeks. The very heart and soul of this country is at stake. We are at a crossroads and never before have we ever had an election as serious and important as this one. The next President will be making decisions that will impact us for the next several generations. This is one election that we need to do what God says. We need to spend time praying and seeking Gods direction on the election. We need to be seeking what is His will and whom He wants in the White House, Congress, the Governors Mansion, and in the local offices as well.

This is one time we can NOT vote our wallets and bank accounts! What do I mean by that? Just because one candidate appears to have a better economic plan and is promising to “Tax the Wealthy” is not the reason to vote for that person. And as far as creating jobs, NO President has ever created a job (outside of Government positions). If people would just use that hunk of meat between their ears and think about what is being said instead of swallowing a bunch of empty promises about getting the “rich” to pay more. One question- How many poor people have ever created a business and put people to work? Just because a company turns a profit is NOT a bad thing! A company that is not turning a profit will not last long! Take a look at what the Platform for that political party is and see how it lines up with the Word of God and it should not take long to figure out who to vote for. Also we need to be praying that peoples eyes will be opened and that all the lies and the empty promises that are just that; Empty! There is a hunger in this country for the things of God. Many have emptiness in their life and are trying to fill it with anything but God. And that emptiness will never be satisfied.

The battle in this nation is a Spiritual battle. The devil knows that his days are very short and the only weapon that he has is fear. If he can get people into fear then he has an opening to delay the plan of God. This nation was founded on Godly principles by Godly men. (Regardless of what those who are determined to re-write history say) Our forefathers spent many hours on there knees before God when they were writing the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and other pieces of Legislation that this country was founded on.

I spent the last few days at a meeting with people who have been to Iraq fighting in the war. It is amazing that they are telling things that the news media sure isn’t broadcasting. We ARE winning regardless of what the media and those who want to wave the white flag are saying!! Let me say it again……We ARE Winning!! Glory to God!! Those of you reading this whom still support our men and women, Please continue to pray for their protection and safe return soon. Thank God also that we have men and women who are willing to go and fight for freedom!

While I am on this pet peeve about the media; Why does the media try portray one particular candidate as stupid ? Over the last 25 + years I have seen this and it gets worse each election. One candidate can make gaff after gaff and talk about visiting 57 states and the media says “ oh he was just tired”. But then a person from the other party stumbles answering a question and immediately they are declared to be stupid and unable to lead. Doesn’t seem quite fair does it?

With all this said, Just remember, It Is NOT the Economy! What is happening in the economy is just side effects of decisions made in the past and now the proverbial chickens have come home to roost! We are reaping the harvest from bad seeds that have been sown! Many of the things facing us today can be traced back to decisions that previous administrations and courts have made. When they threw prayer and God out of school was definitely the beginning of the end so to speak. The nation has taken a moral downward spiral since then. One teacher that stands out in my mind was my 5th and 6th grade teacher. Even though it was “against the law” she still had morning devotionals, prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance every morning. We need more like her. She was a Blessing to my life.

Anyway, back on topic, “It Is NOT the economy stupid” needs to be the battle cry. Don’t be moved by fear! Spend time seeking Gods direction! Cut the TV off and spend time in Gods Word finding out who you are to vote for and then go vote. If we as a nation will do what 2 Chronicles 7:14 says then we can see the situation start to change!

For quite some time now I have periodically mentioned praying for our leaders and the 2008 election which is 7 weeks from today. Only 49 days till we the people determine the fate and direction of this Nation. The moral and economic direction that this country will follow hangs in the balance.

Now, I am not going to tell you who to vote for. I am going to say this though; Get before God in prayer and with His Holy Word and spend time finding out how He wants you to vote and then go vote that way. And I don’t mean just spending 5 minutes and say ” Yep, that’s how I thought I should vote”. This is an election that we are going to have to look beyond what the Government can do for me. The Government should NEVER be your source!

First of all the President can not and never has “created jobs”. However, the taxes that a government puts on industry can definitely affect whether a company remains strong in this country or moves its operations to another country. Higher corporate taxes will drive many businesses and jobs out of this country. So see where the candidates stand on tax increases on businesses in deciding. Also , socialized medicine IS NOT the answer. If socialized medicine (also called medical care for all) is so great then why are many thousands of people coming to the USA for medical treatments from other countries. And before I get corrected I know some people are going to Mexico for treatments that are many times not safe and can be fatal. Where do the candidates weigh in on this. Where do the candidates weigh in on morality? Does what they say line up with God’s Word or does it go crosswise of it? No matter what a person says, God’s Word is still true today!! It is what we are supposed to follow and live by. I know there are a lot of people who are living an immoral lifestyle and saying that is OK or that they were “born that way”. If it goes crosswise of what God says in His Word then it is still wrong! Where does the candidate stand on such issues ?

How did they vote when they were in office as Senators? What bills did they support and which ones did they vote against. This is public information and can be found on the internet rather quickly. Go to Google and type in Senator voting records- You will find a lot of sites to check out. Basically, what do they really believe.

One more thing to consider; There is NO Free Lunch! Somebody, somewhere has to pay for all the “Social Programs” and “Entitlements”. And once again, I am reminding you that Corporate America can not pay for it all through taxes and still have a healthy bottom line to survive and pay their employees! Like it or not’ Profit IS NOT a bad word! When a company is no longer profitable so they can pay their employees, pay their bills and have money left to operate on and expand then usually they close the doors. And one more thing- there is a difference between Profit and Profit Margin. Learn the difference! I am not going to explain it now because I don’t want you to take my word for it. Go see for yourself. One more thing-Windfall Profits Taxes are NOT the answer!

What I am trying to say is this; Get all the facts before making a judgment on any candidate. Spend time praying in the Holy Ghost and seeking direction from God concerning this election. And I am not just talking about the Presidential Candidates. We need to be in prayer for all offices that are open this year. Governors, Senators, Representatives, Judges, and all the Local Offices that are being voted on this year. They all are important! And we have a responsibility to this Nation, to God, and to our Children in voting the way God directs us to vote. Think about it.

I know many people are fasting 1 meal every Tuesday for the next seven weeks and spending that time praying about the election and that the Will of God will be done in the election. If you feel led to join with us by fasting 1 meal and spending that time praying, great, and if you don’t, great. Be led. Don’t do something just because someone else is. Be led by the Holy Spirit! Have a BLESSED Day! Thank God for Wisdom for our leaders and protection over our leaders and our Military. JESUS IS LORD!!!

First of all let me say that we need to be in prayer for those affected by Hurricane Ike. This has been a serious storm that has affected many thousands of fellow citizens in this country. So take a segment of time and pray and find out how you can be a BLESSING to those in that area. Whether it is making donations or volunteering, just do what the LORD has for you to do.

What is the oldest trick in The Book? What trick has been used on mankind since the fall in the Garden? Let’s look in The Book and see. Just like building a house we must first lay a foundation. I encourage you to get your Bible and let your eyes rest on the Words. I will be in Genesis 1, 2, and 3 and several other scriptures.

When God created all this it was perfect. There was no sin, destruction, famine, flood or lack. It was all perfect and in perfect balance. He created all the things that Adam would need to live the perfect life that God had for him. Then He created Adam from the dust of the Earth and breathed Life into him. Then God gave Adam authority over everything. God gave Adam Authority over everything, remember that. Adam was created in God’s image. Did God have Authority? That same Authority was transferred to Adam. Then God created Adam a help meet and Adam called her Woman because she was taken from man. They were told to dress and keep the Garden, be fruitful and multiply, have dominion over everything, and to not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. And the Bible says that they were not ashamed of the fact that they were naked because the oldest trick had not been played yet.

Now, lets look in Genesis 3:
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

Did you spot it? Did you see the oldest trick being played? In chapter 2 verse 25 the Bible says they were not ashamed. In chapter 3 verse 8 they hid when God walked through the Garden. What had changed? Adam did not do what God had given him the authority to do! In fact, the authority that Adam had was now in the hands of the devil. You may ask, “Well where do you get that?” 2 Corinthians 4:4 refers to the devil as the god of this world. 1 Timothy 2:14 says that Adam was not deceived but that the woman was deceived in the transgression. So, what happened? Fear had entered in!

Lets look a little closer; Adam and the Woman (she was not called Eve yet) were in the Garden walking with daily with God and dressing and keeping the Garden. But the devil slipped in and started up a conversation with the Woman. 1st mistake- Don’t give ear to the devil! Then the devil questioned what God had said. 2nd mistake- Know what God says in His Word. Then Adam who was standing there with his wife allowed her to partake of the fruit and he did too. 3rd mistake- He didn’t believe God’s Word. Sin hit this planet and everything that was good became bad. The man and woman died spiritually. They became separated from the Love and Life of God who had been their spiritual Father. Faith became fear and the devil became their spiritual father.

Where is that in the Bible? In John 8 Jesus said “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” Jesus said that they were of their father the devil. I didn’t say it, Jesus did! But that one act of disobedience plunged mankind into eternal separation from God. Sin, sickness, poverty, hate, fear- all that was associated with the devil hit this planet. The BLESSING became the Curse. But thank God, He had a plan of redemption for us. His name is Jesus! Those who know Jesus as LORD don’t have to fall for the oldest trick in the Book anymore! You don’t have to walk around in fear anymore! No fear of death, lack, or sickness! Praise God!!

I had the news on this morning to see what is happening in Texas with Ike. It is plain to see that the oldest trick in the Book is being played again. People are in fear that they are going to run out of gas and be without. That is fear in its purest form. What is the basis for this fear that has swept this country the last 36 hours? The refineries shut down till the storm blew over. And the news media whipped people into a frenzy that there was not going to be any gas. People were lined up waiting to get gas. It looked very much like the gas crisis of the 70’s. Gas prices spiked to over $6 a gallon yesterday because of fear. Just like when the weatherman says “Snow” and people rush to the store for milk and bread. A response that is driven entirely by fear.
When you are walking in THE BLESSING you have no business walking or operating in fear. Go to God’s Word and see what belongs to you! All the Blessings in Deuteronomy 28 are ours! The BLESSING of Abraham is ours and on top of that we are Children of the Most High God, heirs of God and joint-heirs with JESUS! Is there any lack in Heaven? Is God lacking in anything? Then why would His children lack for anything?

Learn who you are in Christ Jesus. Go to the Word of God and know what is involved to be walking in THE BLESSING. Then walk in the fullness of THE BLESSING! There is no fear in THE BLESSING! I serve a God who is more than enough! He supplies all my needs! There is no lack, no want, and no fear in God! I am a tither and a giver and the windows of heaven are open and the devourer has been rebuked! (Philippians 4:19, Malachi 3:10-12)

If you have not made Jesus LORD of your life then you definitely have a reason to be in fear because fear is in you. First of all you are separated from the Love and Life of God. The devil is your spiritual father and he is the father of fear, lack, sickness, poverty, spiritual death and all lies. If you die in that condition, Hell will be your home for all eternity. (I am not trying to make you afraid to die, that fear is already in you. I am telling you the truth based on the Bible) You can change that today and become a Child of the King! Just ask Jesus to come into your heart, to be LORD of your life. You can change families that easily. A very dear friend sent this to me in an e-mail. I thought it was
important enough to put here in blog form. I hope you will read this with an
open mind and think about what it happening in our country today.
Be Blessed! Proverbs 29:2 Jesus Is LORD!! 

  A chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange
students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab the
Professor noticed one young man (exchange student) who kept rubbing his
back, and stretching as if his back hurt.

  The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student told
him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting
communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his
country's government and install a new communist government.

In the midst of his story he looked at the professor and asked a
strange question. He asked, 'Do you know how to catch wild pigs?'
The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line. The
young man said this was no joke. 'You catch wild pigs by finding a
suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find
it and begin to come everyday to eat the free corn. When they are used
to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where
they are used to coming.

  When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and
you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start
to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up
with a gate in The last side. The pigs, who are used to the free corn,
start to come through the gate to eat, you slam the gate on them and
catch the whole herd.

Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and
around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating
the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to
forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.

The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees
happening to America. The government keeps pushing us toward socialism
and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as
supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tobacco subsidies,
dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine,
drugs, etc.. While we continually lose our freedoms -- just a little at
a time.

One should always remember: There is no such thing as a free lunch!
Also, a politician will never provide a service for you cheaper than
you can do it yourself.

Also, if you see that all of this wonderful government 'help' is a
problem confronting the future of democracy in America , you might want
to send this on to your friends. If you think the free ride is
essential to your way of life then you will probably ignore this or say that I am
not right about what is happening in America now but God help you when the
gate slams shut!

In this 'very important' election year, listen closely to what the
candidates are promising you !! Just maybe you will be able to tell
who is about to slam the gate on America.

The article following my comments was sent to me earlier today in an e-mail. It is a little long but well worth the read. I am sure it has been around the block so to speak. Now more than ever it applies to where we are in our country. We are facing a time that will forever change this country- we can stick to our roots and the things that made this country great and strong or we can slink quietly in a corner somewhere and watch the Greatest Nation on the face of the earth be disassembled and turned into the weakling that the socialists so strongly desire it to be. WAKE UP People!!! The time is now! Get your head out of the sand and out of the liberal news media. Use what God gave you between your ears and THINK! If you have children, think of them and the turn (Change???) that is potentially just around the corner. If the liberals get their way the Carter  years will look like a cake walk! These are serious times- Times for men and women and children to get on their face before God, seek His direction and wisdom and get out and vote for the right man in November! If you drop a frog in boiling water he will leap right out. If you
slowly heat the water he will be content until it’s too late to get out.
That is exactly how history works. It moves slowly and we never really
see any danger until it’s too late.

Remember how suppressed workers were before unions came along? The
unions leveled the playing field. Unfortunately, over a long period of
time the pendulum swung too far. Slowly, businesses and factories
closed and jobs left the country. We were comfortable and didn’t see the
change coming. We blamed everyone except ourselves for what happened. We
weren’t alert to how slow things change over time.

World War II, and the Korean War, demonstrated how powerful a united
nation could be. Our nation, and our families, were united. The father
was the head of the family and the President was the head of the nation.
Both were highly respected. We were content and happy.

We were good at fighting a hot war but we were unprepared to fight a
cold war with the communists in the 50’s. They knew they couldn’t change us
but they didn’t care. Their philosophy was to wait it out and capture
the minds of our children. They loaded our colleges with many of their
professors and waited. It didn’t take long to see the results.

The 60′’s ushered in the radicals, drug culture, student protesters, and
the Vietnam War. The aim of the cold war was to divide and conquer.
They divided our families and the nation. The secret to defeating a polite
and respectful people is to scream. The louder and longer you scream
the better your chance of winning. Radicals are masters at this form of
attack. They know if you constantly scream and repeat a lie it will
eventually become the truth.

The media, and Hollywood , hammered us with hate America themes and
stories. Our service men, and women, were jeered, cursed, and spit on.
Even the people, who latter wanted to become their President, thrashed
them. We lost our first War in history. There was no hero’s homecoming
for our fighting men and women.

The Reverend King, who was raised in the old school, peacefully changed
the race issue and united the people. When he died the new breed of
leaders like the Jesse Jackson’s, Lewis Farakon’s, Al Sharpton’s, and
Rev. Wright’s put a lid on his efforts and turned racism into a money
making machine.

Corporations were green-mailed by threats of protests, product boycotts,
or endless lawsuits. Every issue, large or small, became a race issue.
The public recoiled in fear of being called a racist. Their voices were
silenced because one word could cost you a career, get you fired, or get
you sued.

Even politicians buckled under to the pressure. The Florida legislature
issued a formal apology for having slavery 200 years ago. They were
thanked by being asked for compensation. There is no end in sight for
this kind of nonsense. America didn’t capture slaves and bring them to
America . Their own people sold them to slave traders from several
nations. This knowledge doesn’t stop the screamers. History is what it
is and you can’t change it. There have been many tragic events in
history. You acknowledge them and move on.

They divided our nation into two separate Americas . We now have
Americans, and African-Americans, although Africa has nothing to do with
being an American. You can be one or the other but not both. You are
what you were born to be. You do not subordinate our country to any
foreign nation. It’s equivalent to flying the African flag above the
Stars and Stripes. If you hyphenate two countries America always comes
first.

This election year could be the turning point in our history because the
frog theory has come into play. It’s time to step back and look at how
the country has slowly changed since the cold war started. Don’t get
caught up in all the hype.

George McGovern was the first Presidential candidate to test the waters
with college students. The Clinton ’s played a big role in his
campaign. It was the worst campaign ever run. He was crushed in the election.

Step two was to infiltrate all the information vehicles such as radio,
newspapers, magazines, TV and movies. They were quite successful at
that. Jimmy Carter was the first President to demonstrate the
leadership skills of the far left. Weak military, high taxes, runaway inflation,
19% mortgage rates, and plain incompetence ended his career in
Washington. Iran, a small country at the time, took American hostages and kicked
sand in our face. By negotiating from weakness Carter could not get the
hostages released.

The big benefit of the Carter years is that they were followed by the
Reagan years. The nation got a clear look at the difference between a
weak nation and a strong nation. Every student should know this
difference. When Ronald Reagan took over the hostages were quickly
released, taxes were lowered, inflation dropped, mortgage rates dropped,
and the military was strengthened. Russia quickly waved the white flag
and waited for another Democrat term.

Clinton took over Carters uncompleted social programs. He weakened the
military and tried to pass large government programs. An Intern
derailed his Presidency. While he was tied up with his personal problems his
lawyers ran the country. He passed up three opportunities to take out
Osama Bin Laden. This eventually cost us the loss of our Twin Towers ,
thousands of American lives, and got us involved in a war with Iraq .

By the end of his term the left had captured a large share of the media
and it flexed its muscle in 2000. The hate Bush campaign got off to a
roaring start. The brainwashing theory of repeating the same story over
and over again was launched.

There were endless stories about our evil nation and its President.
Top-secret plans were leaked to the press and printed for the entire
world to see. Hollywood cranked out documentaries about the evil Bush
administration and our evil military. They laid the groundwork for the
next election. The ACLU flooded the courts with lawsuits and the
Democrat party became a law firm. Almost every incumbent, or his or her
spouse, is a lawyer.

They now have the perfect candidate because they can squash criticism by
playing the race card. If you don’t like Obama, or criticize him, you
are a racist. They can hide his inexperience and background by turning
him into a rock star and singing change and hope. They don’t tell us
what kind of change, or how it will be done, only that you should hope
for the best. By keeping the hype going they don’t have to put anything
of substance on the table.

The only thing we really know about Obama is that his wife has never
been proud to be an American. They want us to believe that his liberal
college professors, Rev. Pfleger, his ties to radicals Bill Ayer and
Lewis Farakon, and listening to the Rev. Wright’s hate talks for 20
years, had no influence on his thinking. If they didn’t, then who did?
He wasn’t in business and didn’t see fit to serve his country. These
people launched his political career and their organizations received
earmarks in return for their campaign donations and political help. They
must have had some influence. Rev. Wright’s church received over $15
million. That’s only one small local church. Think on a national scale.

The change being promoted is a change back to the Carter years. It
started in 2006 when the lawyer party took over. There have been
endless lawsuits and investigations in retaliation for the Clinton years. It
keeps the lawyers busy but does nothing for the economy. The economy
has been in a downward spiral since they took over.

Returning to the Carter years of high taxes, high inflation, and a weak
military is not the change we are looking for. We cannot cower to a
bunch of crazies whose only goal in life is to kill us.

The old sage’s (over 50) will have to play a big role in this election.
The young people simply don’t know what the aged know. The advantage of
aging is the knowledge you accumulated. You know what United States
means. You know what the seldom-heard word respect means. You know how
wonderful freedom and independence is. You know the difference between
a strong and a weak nation; and you know what it takes to keep it strong.
You know history because you have lived it.

Although the old guard is dying off, and getting too tired to fight,
they have to muster one more charge. If they don’t, our children, and
grandchildren, will never know the joy and freedom that is the bedrock
of our country. The heat is slowly being turned up and the water is
getting hot. The old frogs better start jumping before it’s too late.

A Prayer for the Nations

Daily, international events are setting the stage for Jesus’ return. As believers in every land continue to pray on behalf of their leaders, God is pouring out His Spirit—making tremendous power available to guide the governments of every nation according to His divine will and plan. Psalm 2:8 says, “Ask of Me, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.” As you stand for your nation or other nations of the world, you can pray the following:

Oh God in heaven, I come before You in the Name of Jesus on behalf of the leaders of (name the nation). First of all in accordance with 1 Timothy 2:1-2, I intercede and give thanks for kings and all in authority and expect to live a quiet and peaceable life. I pray for the Word of God to be given free course and Your people to be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men (2 Thessalonians 3:1-2). The heart of the king is in Your hand and You will turn it whichever way You choose (Proverbs 21:1). I ask You to direct the heart and mind of (name the nation’s leader) to make decisions that will lead the country in Your ways and according to Your Word.

I thank you, Lord, for bringing change to the politics of (name the nation). Thank You for changing the voices of influence to speak in agreement with Your Word. I ask You to send laborers filled with the spirit of wisdom and might, to surround the leaders of (name the nation) with godly counsel and insight. I also ask you to remove from positions of authority those who stubbornly oppose righteousness, and replace them with men and women who will follow You and Your appointed course for (name the nation).

As we enter the final hours of the last days, I ask for the spirit of faith, the workings of miracles, for signs, wonders, gifts and demonstrations of the Holy Spirit and power to be in strong operation. Let believers in (name the nation) and in every land be unified to stand strong by faith in Jesus, the Anointed One and His anointing, that Your glory may be revealed in all the earth.

Thank you, Lord, that these requests come to pass. I believe I receive. Amen.

A Prayer for Our Government

First Timothy 2:1-3 says that we are to pray, intercede and give thanks for kings and all people in authority. This is God’s command to every believer today. Praying for godly leaders is productive toward God’s plan and purpose for our nation. The Bible says the heart of a king is in the hand of the Lord. He can turn it however He wants, so your prayers are important. Here is a confession for you to use in prayer for our nation and its leaders. Pray it in faith, believing, and remember God watches over His Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12,.

Father, I bring the needs of our government before You and ask You to bless our nation through godly leaders. I magnify the Name of Jesus and declare that He is Lord over this nation.

Father, I pray according to 1 Timothy 2:1-3 which says, “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour.”

I pray, in the Name of the Lord Jesus, for our president, the vice president, all the Cabinet and the chief justice and associate justices of the Supreme Court to receive the wisdom of God, to act in obedience to that wisdom and for the power of God to flow in their lives.

I pray for the members of the Senate and the House of Representatives to find Your peace and direction, and for these men and women to act and lead according to Your Word. A house divided against itself cannot stand, therefore, I pray for them to be unified in righteousness for the sake of the nation.

I pray for Your protection to cover all our law enforcement officers and the men and women of the military. I ask for godly counsel and wisdom for judges across this land. In the Name of Jesus, I pray that You and your kingdom of righteousness be manifested in the hearts of all those who are in authority in any way.

Father, Your Word says to pray for the peace of Jerusalem because those that love Jerusalem shall prosper. Lord Jesus, because You love Jerusalem and wept over it, I love it also. I pray for Jerusalem to receive the Shalom of God, which brings wholeness—nothing missing, nothing broken. I pray that no leader of our nation will make any decision that will harm Jerusalem in any way. And in the Name of Jesus, I pray that You reveal Your perfect will to all the leaders of Israel. I ask You, Lord, to reveal Yourself to each person. Thank You, Father, for hearing my prayers that are in accordance to Your will. I receive the answers, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Just a quick note to remind those of you that read my blog and keep up with things going on at Faith and Victory Church that our yearly Vacation Bible School starts tonight! Our theme this year is  “Son Harvest County Fair- Growing the Fruit of the Spirit”. We will be teaching the kiddos about the Fruit of the Spirit. Bring your kids out for a fun evening.
