We are at a time that past generations have only dreamed of or imagined. Never before has then been such a Spiritual battle being waged. Jesus spoke of these days when he walked on the Earth.

Matthew 24:6
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

What is going on in the natural has been being waged in the Spiritual as well. Israel is  defending  It’s borders and  rightfully so. The Land was promised to Abraham over  4000 years ago when God made Covenant with him. You can read  this account in Genesis 12-14 and all thru the Bible that Israel are God’s chosen People.

As we  are fast moving through February and we take a moment to look around us there are a lot of distractions. And if we get caught up in the things that we see in the news and not spend time in the Bible and praying in the Holy Ghost then we may very well miss the Glory of God!

God has sent His Son to purchase our redemption and healing but still there are millions, even billions who do not know  Jesus as LORD and have never experienced the GLORY of God. We must  put forth every effort to get the Gospel out, the Good News that Jesus gave His Life on a cross for our redemption, took a beating at the whipping post for our healing and all we have to do is accept Him as LORD. Then we can walk in all the fullness of the BLESSING that God has promised to us.

It doesn’t matter what you have done or what sins you have committed the only thing that will send you to hell is rejecting Jesus, the Gift that God gave to us. Where did we so far off base that we can not tell people “Merry CHRISTmas” in fear we might offend somebody? I tell you where a big part of it started was the removing of Prayer and the Bible from our public schools- but more than that, when parents stopped teaching Little Johnny and Little Susie about God and decided to let somebody else do it. Just remember, as the home goes, so goes the Church, and as the Church goes, so goes the Nation. We have been fat, dumb and lazy and let the devil deceive 2 generations and are fast losing a third one. The Church has got to step up to the plate and take it’s place in this Nation. Far too many “political” groups that are purely deceived by the devil are getting there hellish agendas pushed into law and God is being pushed out more and more.

I want to know what University in this Nation is allowing CHRISTmas trees? I will sure start giving you my support! Several of the gutless ones in this state have forbid them.  So I commend any University that has CHRISTmas trees on Campus and say a big THANK YOU for not caving in to political pressure by a handful of deceived people who go around screaming “Separation of Church and State”. If people would get the real facts on this they would see that it IS NOT in the Constitution!! They have swallowed a lie. The Constitution was never to keep the Church out of the State, but was to keep the State out of the Church, but some Godless, gutless pinheads got it mixed up and “interpreted” it the way they wanted to and now we have the mess we have today. It plainly says that the Government cannot prevent the practice of religion in this country!  Why can we have all these “other” religions supported and of course we must be tolerant and not offend – except when it comes to Christianity? I tell you why- because the devil don’t care if you worship buddha or muhammad or allah because they are false religions! He is not threatened by their names. But when someone calls on the Name of JESUS, all hell trembles. The devil has not forgotten that he was whipped and stripped of authority and made a show of openly! The Name of JESUS is above all other names! Sickness, disease, poverty, lack- all that was under the curse must bow its’ knee. And regardless of whether you believe it or not, there is coming a time when “every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that JESUS IS LORD!”  Some may say “Well, I don’t believe in God” That’s ok, He still believes in you and sent His Son JESUS to redeem you and make you a joint heir with JESUS. Religion is just man trying to get to God but Christianity is God  getting to man and restoring  man to what he was before Adam sinned and bowed his knee to the devil in the Garden of Eden.

Yeah, I know I am wound up but it just aggravates me when I go to a store and buy merchandise and as I am checking out I say “Merry CHRISTmas” and they either ignore me or say “You too”. Next time it happens I am going to take my money elsewhere- and if more Christians would do that, these “Politically Correct” merchants might start having a change in their policies. I wonder if I said “Happy Kwanzaa” what their reply would be? JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THIS SEASON!! Merry CHRISTmas and a BLESSED and Prosperous 2009 to all! JESUS IS LORD!!!

I was scanning through some articles online about the original Thanksgiving and how we have failed to recognize the importance of this day. Contrary to popular belief the Pilgrims came to this Country to further the Gospel of Jesus Christ;Not to “seek their fortunes” as some have written. These were people who had a desire to see THE BLESSING spread to this New World. They wanted to advance the Good News to the whole World. And  it is still an ongoing job today.

The Pilgrims would likely have not survived had the Indians not helped them with growing their crops, building housing, and which fruits and plants were good for food and which were poisonous. I am including a  few links at the end of my article so you can go and read it for yourself. We have a lot in this country to be Thankful for every day, not just the last Thursday in November.

In 1621 the Pilgrims set aside a 3 day feast to give Thanks to God for the BLESSINGS that they had experienced even though the devil had thrown a lot of challenges on these early settlers and had tried to wipe them out with sickness and diseases. Thanks be to god for those who survived that 1st winter and  had planted crops with the help of the Indians.

Thanksgiving Day was not repeated for several years because the early settlers were busy cultivating and building their houses.A drought threatened to wipe out their  crops so those early sttlers set aside a time to pray and seek God to bring rain ( According to 2 Chronicles 7:14) and once they had  prayed and had repented for sin in their lives they received a fourteen day slow, gentle rain. A day of Thanksgiving was held later in 1624. We can see from this that it is easy to get so preoccupied that we forget to Thank God for His BLESSINGS!

In 1676 a Proclomation was wsset forth to Honor God prayers and a time of thanksgiving. Here is a copy of  that;

“The Holy God having by a long and Continual Series of his Afflictive dispensations in and by the present Warr with the Heathen Natives of this land, written and brought to pass bitter things against his own Covenant people in this wilderness, yet so that we evidently discern that in the midst of his judgements he hath remembered mercy, having remembered his Footstool in the day of his sore displeasure against us for our sins, with many singular Intimations of his Fatherly Compassion, and regard; reserving many of our Towns from Desolation Threatened, and attempted by the Enemy, and giving us especially of late with many of our Confederates many signal Advantages against them, without such Disadvantage to ourselves as formerly we have been sensible of, if it be the Lord’s mercy that we are not consumed, It certainly bespeaks our positive Thankfulness, when our Enemies are in any measure disappointed or destroyed; and fearing the Lord should take notice under so many Intimations of his returning mercy, we should be found an Insensible people, as not standing before Him with Thanksgiving, as well as lading him with our Complaints in the time of pressing Afflictions: The Council has thought meet to appoint and set apart the 29th day of this instant June, as a day of Solemn Thanksgiving and praise to God for such his Goodness and Favour, many Particulars of which mercy might be Instanced, but we doubt not those who are sensible of God’s Afflictions, have been as diligent to espy him returning to us; and that the Lord may behold us as a People offering Praise and thereby glorifying Him; the Council doth commend it to the Respective Ministers, Elders and people of this Jurisdiction; Solemnly and seriously to keep the same Beseeching that being persuaded by the mercies of God we may all, even this whole people offer up our bodies and souls as a living and acceptable Service unto God by Jesus Christ.”

George Washington made an official Proclamation concerning this that we seldom hear about; Here is what he said:

Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor; and Whereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me to “recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness:”

Now, therefore, I do recommend and assign Thursday, the 26th day of November next, to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the signal and manifold mercies and the favorable interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty which we have since enjoyed; for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have been enable to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national one now lately instituted for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed, and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and, in general, for all the great and various favors which He has been pleased to confer upon us.

And also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions; to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually; to render our National Government a blessing to all the people by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed; to protect and guide all sovereigns and nations (especially such as have shown kindness to us), and to bless them with good governments, peace, and concord; to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among them and us; and, generally to grant unto all mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as He alone knows to be best.

Contrary to popular belief, even after President Washington made this declaration it was still not done on a yearly basis. President Abraham Lincoln  made that proclomation in 1863 and can be read below;

               and healthful skies. To these bounties, which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to
               forget the source from which they come, others have been added, which are of so

Over the next seventy five years it as traditionally celebrated on the last Thursday with only a few variations. In 1942
Congress finally  declared that it would celebrated on the fourth Thursday on November and has continued  that
way through today.

In the Name of Jesus, we Thank You Father God for all you BLESSINGS in this Nation and all of her citizens.
Thank You that we live in a country that You have BLESSED with your mercy and with Your love. You have shown
Your goodness and  hand  of protection to this country. I lift up our Military and thank You for protecting them.
Let them know we love and appreciate them and are believing God's Word and declaring it over them and that they do
not wear the sword in vain! We Thank You for our leaders and all those in Authority in this Nation. we Thank You that
they follow  Your Word and your leading in making the decisions that face this Nations economy and Military. They
have been placed in a position of authority and that  allows you to turn their hearts as the rivers of waters. Thank You
that we are a nation that has an abundance and falls short in no good thing. we are a nation that is spreading the

1 Timothy 2

Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus I thank You for wisdom for our leaders and all those in authority. I thank You that they look to You for direction in making Godly decisions for the best of this Nations towns, cities,  counties, states and the whole nation. I thank You for protection over all those in elected offices and that they know the love and peace that can only come from You. I declare by Your Word that no weapon formed against this nation or  it’s citizens will prosper. We, as a nation, do dwell in the secret place of the Most High and no harm shall befall us. I thank You Father that the righteous are never forsaken and that Your seed will never be begging bread because You, not a government program, supplies all our needs according to Your riches in Glory by Christ Jesus! I stand on Your Word and Your Promises and thank You for a smooth transition of power in all offices across this land and that Your Word will never return to You void but will accomplish what it was sent to do and that You will have Your will done in this nation, in Jesus Name. Anyway, just like a former candidate that smoked marijuana but never inhaled, we are supposed to swallow these lies and deceptions. Well,  Do not be like a bunch of sheep- Baaa Baaaa Baaaaaa  and end up being slaughtered. This candidate will tell any group anywhere anything they want to hear just to get elected.

This blog is going to be  to the point- I am asking all people who claim the Name of the LORD to get out and vote! The very heart and soul and future of this country as we know it is at stake! Get before God and pray about how you are supposed to vote and then go do it! We can make a difference on Tuesday regardless of what it may look like now!! I am going to include a portion of an email I received but the bottom line is if the Liberal democrat party gets full control of all the Congress and White House too then it is going to be a long 2 years. ( 2 years till the next Senate and House Races and by that time the Dems should have thoroughly  pushed this country to the point that we really need  some change!) Companies will be fleeing this country to a more favorable tax environment if  the plans of the Dems are put into place. Don’t believe me? Look at it like this- If  the Dems make the  people who make over $150,000 ( yes they have already waffled on it and lowered it to that amount now) then ” make” the employers provide all employees with Health Care then where is the money coming from to keep the doors open, pay the utilities, pay the taxes, pay the health care, pay the mortgage, pay all the bills they already have plus the extra the Dems want?  What would you do as a Business Owner? If they are taking all your Profit Margin then what do you have left to operate on? It is just simple  arithmetic. What do you do?  You start looking for ways to cut costs or you close the doors! How do most companies start cutting costs? Usually they start slowing down on production and laying people off. Then closing facilities is next and moving jobs out of the country. Sure we have lost jobs in this country in the last 18 months BUT Unemployment is still lower than it has been  under the previous Administration! The  media forgot to tell us that! Anyway, just think before you vote! Below is a part of an email I received- It has been around  a while and been rumored that Jay Leno and David Letterman wrote it but supposedly it was really written by Craig R Smith. ‘The other day I was reading Newsweek magazine and came across some Poll data I found rather hard to believe. It must be true given the source, right?
The Newsweek poll alleges that 67 percent of Americans are unhappy with the direction the country is headed and 69 percent of the country is unhappy with the performance of the President. In essence 2/3 of the citizenry just ain’t happy and want a change. So being the knuckle dragger I am, I started thinking, ‘What are we so unhappy about?’

A. Is it that we have electricity and running water 24 hours a day, 7 Days a week?

B. Is our unhappiness the result of having air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter?
C. Could it be that 95.4 percent of these unhappy folks have a job?

D. Maybe it is the ability to walk into a grocery store at any time and see more food in moments than Darfur has seen in the last year?

E. Maybe it is the ability to drive our cars and trucks from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean without having to present identification papers as we move through each state.
F. Or possibly the hundreds of clean and safe motels we would find along the way that can provide temporary shelter?

G. I guess having thousands of restaurants with varying cuisine from around the world is just not good enough either.

H. Or could it be that when we wreck our car, emergency workers show up and provide services to help all and even send a helicopter to take you to the hospital.

I. Perhaps you are one of the 70 percent of Americans who own a home.
J. You may be upset with knowing that in the unfortunate case of a fire, a group of trained firefighters will appear in moments and use top notch equipment to extinguish the flames thus saving you, your family, and your belongings.

K. Or if, while at home watching one of your many flat screen TVs, a burglar or prowler intrudes, an officer equipped with a gun and a bullet-proof vest will come to defend you and your family against attack or loss.

L. This all in the backdrop of a neighborhood free of bombs or militias raping and pillaging the residents. Neighborhoods where 90% of teenagers own cell phones and computers.

M. How about the complete religious, social and political freedoms we enjoy that are the envy of everyone in the world?

Maybe that i s what has 67% of you folks unhappy.

Fact is, we are the largest group of ungrateful, spoiled brats the world has ever seen. No wonder the world loves the U.S. , yet has a great disdain for its citizens. They see us for what we are. The most blessed people in the world who do nothing but complain about what we don’t have, and what we hate about the country instead of thanking the good Lord we live here.

I know, I know. What about the president who took us into war and has no plan to get us out? The president who has a measly 31 percent approval rating? Is this the same president who guided the nation in the dark days after 9/11? The president that cut taxes to bring an economy out of recession? Could this be the same guy who has been called every name in the book for succeeding in keeping all the spoiled ungrateful brats safe from terrorist attacks? The commander in chief of an all-volunteer army that is out there defending you and me?
Did you hear how bad the President is on the news or talk show? Did this news affect you so much, make you so unhappy you couldn’t take a look around for yourself and see all the good things and be glad? Think about it……are you upset at the President because he actually caused you personal pain OR is it because the ‘Media’ told you he was failing to kiss your sorry ungrateful behind every day. Make no mistake about it. The troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have volunteered to serve, and in many cases may have died for your freedom. There is currently no draft in this country. They didn’t have to go. They are able to refuse to go and end up with either a ”general” discharge, an ‘other than honorable” discharge or, worst case scenario, a ”dishonorable’ discharge after a few days in the brig.

So why then the flat-out discontentment in the minds of 69 percent of Americans?

Say what you want, but I blame it on the media. If it bleeds it leads and they specialize in bad news. Everybody will watch a car crash with blood and guts. How many will watch kids selling lemonade at the corner? The media knows this and media outlets are for-profit corporations. They offer what sells, and when criticized, try to defend their actions by ‘justifying’ them in one way or another. Just ask why they tried to allow a murderer like O.J. Simpson to write a book about how he didn’t kill his wife, but if he did he would have done it this way……Insane!

Turn off the TV, burn Newsweek, and use the New York Times for the bottom of your bird cage. Then start being grateful for all we have as a country. There is exponentially more good than bad. We are among the most blessed people on Earth and should thank God several times a day, or at least be thankful and appreciative.’ ‘With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, ‘Are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?’

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Not everyone in this Nation will turn to God. This scripture says we, Gods people, must humble themselves, pray, seek God’s face, and turn from our wicked ways. Then God will hear from heaven, forgive our sin, and heal our land.

We have a job to do people….lets be busy about The Fathers business! This election is a spiritual war for the heart and soul of the United States! Please pray that peoples eyes will be opened and that those that are operating in darkness will have the Light shined on their plots and plans. That which is done in secret by the enemy will be shouted from the housetops! Thank you and have a BLESSED Day!!

Get into a Church that teaches the Word and grow in the things of God and find out what is provided for you by Jesus death and resurrection! That is God’s Dream- That all would come to accept the Gift He gave us- His Son Jesus- and walk in all of THE BLESSING He has provided for us!!

Also, I am asking all of you who will to join in praying the prayer below for our Nation. God has a dream and a plan for this Nation and we have not even come close to completing this assignment. A Prayer For Our Nation

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the Name of
Jesus on behalf of all our leaders in the United States
of America—our local, state and national leaders, our judicial,

We plead the blood of Jesus over our leaders and their
households, and we stand in that covenant of blood on behalf
of this entire nation.
God, You said in Proverbs 21:1 that the heart of the king is in
Your hand—and You turn it whichever way You choose. So
we ask You to direct the hearts and minds of our leaders to
make decisions that will lead our country in Your ways,
according to Your Word.
Send laborers filled with the spirit of wisdom and might to
surround our leaders with godly counsel and insight. If necessary,
change the voices of influence that surround them so
what they hear is in agreement with Your Word.
Lord, we ask You to remove from positions of authority
those who stubbornly oppose righteousness. Replace them
with men and women who will follow You and Your appointed
course for our schools, our cities, our counties, our states…
our nation.
Now, we declare the power of the Living God over every
election held in this country—from border to border and
coast to coast. We declare that Your people, Your choice,
Your men and women—whatever political party they are
in—get into office.
Father, thank You for bringing change to the politics of
America. We say that righteousness will prevail in our political
process. And we thank You for it. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
