For some time now we have been hearing about Senator Grassley and his illegal investigation of several Word of Faith/Charismatic /Pentecostal Ministries. We have heard the rumors and the lies from the media also. I got a question. Why did Mr Grassley only go after the ones who are teaching what God’s Word says? Why is he trying to silence the ones who are teaching exactly what Jesus taught when He walked the earth? Why is he so bent on trying to destroy or discredit these ministries that are seeing miraculous outpourings of the Holy Spirit and seeing people saved, healed, delivered and on fire for God? Well, I can give you my opinion or I can tell you what the Bible says-They both are the same-Let’s see what Gods Word says

2 Timothy 4 (KJV)

1I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Too many Christians today know that they are Saved and going to Heaven- but that is ALL they know- they have been taught by unsound, unbiblical doctrine that teach that God is mad at you, He hates you, He wants to see you in hell, He will zap you with His lightning bolt if you mess up, He will send sickness and death and disease to teach you something, that we are just worms crawling thru life, that we are unworthy, undesirables, and God is just putting up with us because He has to. This is being taught every Sunday that God and the devil work together to teach you a lesson of make you a better person. That the Good Shepherd will crack you over the head and break your leg with His rod and staff to make you a better Christian. I got one more question- Where is the scripture for any of that? They teach this like it’s Bible- So where is the Scripture?? Hmmm? For something to be scriptural it must have one thing- Scripture! I find in my Bible (and yes it is a KJV) that God Sent His Son to die for me and to redeem me from sin, sickness and poverty! Galatians 3:13,14,29 Isiah 53:4-5 1 Peter 2:24 Matthew 8:17 *** I also see that God says I am a son and an heir with Jesus-Romans 8:16-17,2 Corinthians 6:18 *** I also see we’re are a new creation and the righteousness of God in Jesus - 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 ***I also see that God loved me so much He sent Jesus, His only Begotten Son, to earth to live as a man and live a sinless life and die for me on the cross and purchase my redemption- John 3:16*** I also see that His rod and staff comfort me-Psalm23 (If I was afraid that He was going to beat me over the head or break my leg I don’t think it would be comforting! Do you ??!!)

Too many have been following a bunch of doctrines of what God can’t do, wont do, or used to do ( I know some of you think I have forgotten my original topic, but I haven’t- Senator Grassley) and we have taken God’s Word and made it of little or no effect! And when a ministry or ministries come along and teach the Truth of what God says in His Word then we are looked on as a bunch of weirdos and heretics- Why? Because we went crosswise with what Dr. So and So teaches and what Grandma’s preacher said and what happened to this one or that one- ONE very important question- Where is the scripture to back up what Dr. So and So and Grandma’s preacher said??? Where is the scripture that says God don’t heal anymore?? Hmmmm??? I got it in Red Letters in my Bible-Jesus said it- and Red Letters trump men’s doctrines!

These ministries that are being attacked are the ones who are getting the Gospel, the Good News, out to the world! They are the ones who are teaching that God is a Good God and He loves us and that He wants us Saved, Healed and Prosperous! Why hasn’t he gone after the ones who are telling you that we are worms and the devil is God’s puppy dog and He uses him to teach us something and that God has a purpose for everything that happens in our life and we are just to endure and hang on and maybe we will make it someway, someday???? And why hasn’t he gone after The Muslims, The Buddhist, The Mormons, or The Jehovah’s Witnesses’ ?? Hmmmm??? When you see the bias of this I think you can see that this is nothing but an attack by the enemy( the devil) to try to keep the Truth from getting out! But I got news for the devil- he is a defeated foe and I have read the last chapter in the book and guess what? We win!!

Thank you for letting me vent here. This is really frustrating to know that there are over 7 billion people on this planet and only 1 billion claim to know Jesus. Approximately 6 billion will go to hell if we don’t reach them! And then you have Ministries that are teaching the Gospel all over the world and getting people saved, and healed, and delivered from oppression get attacked because they are prosperous. It makes no sense! Do they think that travel is free? That TV is free? I don’t see one Senator putting in the type of schedule that many of these people put in just to preach the Gospel. And so what if they have a jet? I say Glory to God! They can get there quicker and reach more places and people! And I know that some will say “Jesus didn’t have a jet”- wonder why?? If someone doesn’t reach these people they will go to Hell! Anyway, we are and still will be running wide open for Jesus till he returns! I don’t care what the devil tries to pull we will get the TRUTH out to people and that TRUTH will set them free! Jesus said it would and I believe it! John 8:32

If you have never accepted this Truth and made Jesus Lord of your life, I invite you to do that today- You can click on the tab “Are you a Christian” for more information- email me and let me know if you made that decision-my email address is larry <at> turbofaith.com -please replace the <at> with @ when you email me. Have a Blessed day!

As a nation we have gone through a “Health Craze” over the years. People will go to the gym and sign up and spend lots of money to “get in shape” but after a few months the majority drop out. Why? Some just are too busy to spend that amount of time each week to see the benefit. Others, because of a possible health issues can’t put their body to that kind of training. Others still just won’t because its hard. But some will persevere and sweat and work till they see the results they want.

Christians are the same way. Some are just too busy to go to church or spend time daily in His Word and grow weaker and weaker spiritually and are prime candidates for the enemy to destroy. Some because of possible physical ailments think they aren’t able to (but the Word of God is like medicine to our flesh) But some will persevere and get up early and read their Bible and pray in the Holy Ghost and feed on God’ Word by being at church when the doors are open and then they also feed on God’s Word all weak by listening to good teachings that are full of faith. If we fed our physical bodies the way we feed our spirit man we would all die of malnutrition in a short period of time. We make sure that wee eat at least 3 times a day but a vast majority won’t feed their spirit man God’s Word much more than 1 time a week ( and many not even that often). Then when the enemy attacks, and we are toast so to speak, we want to question why did God allow that? He didn’t! Just like a person who doesn’t take care of their physical body and then have health issues arise. If you don’t strengthen your spirit by feeding it the things of God then there will be issues arise and attacks by the enemy.

How do you strengthen your spirit? Feed it God’s Word daily. Feed on teachings that are full of faith. Teachings that teach who we are in Christ Jesus (We are the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus- We are more than conquerors- We are overcomers-We are new creations- We are Sons and Daughters of the Most High God-We are Blessed!) I know this isn’t what a lot of people have heard from the pulpit but this is from the Bible! Go look it up. Say what God says about you! Grow strong in Him and His Word! then when the enemy tries to attack, your faith is strong and victory is yours! But it will take effort on your part- get up an hour early and read and pray in the Holy Ghost. Put on a teaching CD on faith ( ones by Kenneth Hagin Sr, Kenneth Hagin Jr, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland) ( Faith and Victory Church, Word of Faith Ministries, Keith Moore, and Jerry Savelle all have free MP3 downloads) Look to the right- there are links to the ones that teach Faith. There is basically no excuse. Its just like someone who is physically out of shape saying “Well I want to get in shape but there are no gyms that are convenient to get to”. You are going to have to put forth some effort. The LORD awoke me at 4 am this morning and prompted me to write this- I had no idea what direction I was going except Be Strong!

One thing I overlooked- if you have never made Jesus LORD of your life then that is the first step- Just like you have to have a membership to get in the gym, you have to have a “Membership” to enjoy the benefits of God. That’s first, and if look above there is a tab “Are you A Christian” that will help you make that decision. After that get into a church that teaches the Word without compromise and teaches the Bible, not opinions and mans doctrine. Too many Christians live defeated lives because they are in a church that teaches we are just worms, we are no good, we are just sinners saved by grace ( you can’t be both- You were a sinner, you are now saved by grace!) and that everything has a purpose- God has some great reason for making you sick, or poor, or defeated- Hogwash! God sent His Son Jesus to take our sickness, disease, poverty and redeem us from the bonds of the devil and sin!. Check it out, that’s in the Bible! You will never rise above the situation if you think that God is the one doing it to you. What hope do you have? But Glory to God, 1 Corinthians 15:57 says “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” and 2 Corinthians 2:14 says “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” Does that sound like God wants you defeated? I am including a partial list of scriptures on strength below- read those and let them sink in. Grow strong in the LORD and live a Victorious life ! JESUS IS LORD!!

Strength Scriptures-

Psa 71:16 I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.

Psalm 81:1 Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.

Psalm 118:14 The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.

Psalm 138:3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

Psalm 140:7 O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.

Psalm 144:1 Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:

will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Ephesians 6:10-16 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

<sup id="en-KJV-29352">14</sup>Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

<sup id="en-KJV-29353">15</sup>And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

<sup id="en-KJV-29356">18</sup>Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

The following is a draft that I started back in February so the events at the beginning are almost a month old- I didn’t post it at that time because I never felt like it was complete. After letting it marinate for over a month it is ready to be sent to the world. So, here we go….

Greetings! Today has been an awesome day! God is so good! Been listening to Rick Herndon on the Mp3 today-He taught last Friday night at Faith Life Church in Branson Missouri.

Here is link- http://archiveserver.morelifenow.org/archives.php?trigger=1966015117

This link will take you to the web page and then just scroll down through the archives to last Friday nights service- The Goodness of God in the Land of the Living- That is where the title for my blog came from- Anyway, I have truly been blessed here lately- God has Blessed me to be able to work a job that I can listen to the Word of God being taught while I work- Glory to God! I am also Blessed to be in a church where the Word of God is taught, without compromise I might add, too! Glory to God again! Pastor Ed, Dr Bill, Miss Janie are all such a Blessing. You can hear their messages at this link-

http://www.fvc.org/podcast/

I know you will be blessed! God is a good God and He wants to Bless us! His Word says so-He is a rewarder to those who diligently seek Him. Jesus told us to seek first the Kingdom of God and then the other stuff will come- It is having your priorities in order- We would think it silly if someone tried to build the roof for the house before building the foundation and the sidewalls, right? Well, just like you have to have a foundation for a house to be built on if it is going to last, you must have a foundation built on Gods Word to be able to stand when the enemy tries to attack-And he will attack. The Bible says that we are to resist the devil and he will flee! We have been given authority over him! He is a defeated foe! Too many people give the devil way to much credit. Yes he is a true enemy. But if you know what God says in His Word and have built up your faith then you can stand….with the whole armor of God on!

Ephesians 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

If we do what God says in His word then we are a well equipped Soldier in the army of The LORD! 1 Corinthians 15:57 says “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Corinthians 2:14 says “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.”- That is an assurance that if we do what God says to do we will triumph over the enemy when he does try to attack! Just like a Soldier is trained to fight and defend his country we are trained when we immerse ourselves in Gods Word and also spend time in prayer. God desires to spend time with us who are His children. Just like I, as a parent, desire to spend time with my children God wants to spend time with his children. And don’t give God the leftovers at the end of the day. give Him the First fruits of your time- A tithe of your time- the first part of the day when you first get up and not the last 5 minutes when you say “Dear Lord I just want to say….” zzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzz and fall asleep. So dust off that Bible and get in a good church where the Word is taught without compromise and spend time in prayer ! It is very important that you are attending a church where the Word of God is not taught in error or is compromised. Ask yourself this ” What does the Bible say- Where is the scripture ?” I don’t care what this one or that one says that he think what the Bible says- I want to know what Jesus said!

Too many Christians are living a defeated life and it is because they have no strength and no defense against the enemy! No Word, No Faith- Know Word, Know Faith!! You feed your body 3 hot meals a day to keep it strong and healthy. You need to feed your faith so it will also grow strong too! Then you can stand and defeat the enemy!

One more thing- if you have never made the decision to make Jesus your LORD, why not do that today. I can guarantee you that you will never regret it! Above is a tab “Are you a Christian” that can help you to make Jesus your LORD. Have a Blessed week and remember- JESUS IS LORD!!

Just a short blog today but just want all that read this to stop and think for a minute on just what Jesus did for you. He left His Heavenly Glory, took on the body of a man, lived a sinless life in which He was tempted in all areas just like we are. ( Hebrews4:15) He laid down His life and went to hell and paid the price for our sins till the sin debt was paid- Was raised from the dead and is now seated at the Right Hand of the Father!

Every sin that had ever been committed and every sin that would be committed! Every sickness and disease, everything that came when Adam committed high treason and the Curse hit this planet. See what the Bible has to say about it:
Isaiah 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Jesus paid a tremendous price but He did it willingly because He knew it was the only way to redeem mankind from spiritual death. Thank You Jesus for what you did for us!

I am attaching a video to this that is from the movie ” The Passion of Christ”. I know it is a Hollywood movie but this scene where it shows the beating Jesus endured is about as close to anything that we can imagine- And even then it comes short.Isaiah 52:14 says He was marred more than any man- like I said, we can only imagine how horrible it was. This time of year when we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus take time to reflect on how much He loves you and wants to be your LORD. He did do it all for you! Don’t get hung up in the Easter baskets, bunnies, eggs, and a big feast. Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection IS what this IS all about! Have a Blessed Resurrection Day! JESUS IS LORD!

I received this in an e-mail recently. I thought that you might enjoy this. Have a Blessed Day! JESUS IS LORD!

Every Sunday afternoon, after the morning service at the church and lunch, the Pastor and his eleven-year-old son would go out into their town and hand out Gospel Tracts. This particular Sunday afternoon, as it came time for the Pastor and his son to go to the streets with their tracts, it was very cold outside, as well as pouring down rain. The boy bundled up in his warmest and driest clothes and said, “OK, Dad, I’m ready.”

His Pastor dad asked, “Ready for what?”

“Dad, it’s time we gather our tracts together and go out.”

Dad responds, “Son, it’s very cold outside, and it’s pouring down rain.”

The boy gives his dad a surprised look, asking, “But Dad, aren’t people still going to Hell, even though it’s raining?”

Dad answers, “Son, I am not going out in this weather.”

Despondently, the boy asks, “Dad, can I go? Please?”

His father hesitated for a moment, then said, “Son, you can go. Here are the tracts, be careful son.”

“Thanks Dad!”

And with that, he was off and out into the rain. This eleven-year-old boy walked the streets of the town going door-to-door and handing everybody he met in the street a Gospel Tract.

After two hours of walking in the rain, he was soaking, bone-chilled wet and down to his VERY LAST TRACT. He stopped on a corner and looked for someone to hand a tract to, but the streets were totally deserted.

Then he turned toward the first home he saw and started up the sidewalk to the front door and rang the doorbell. He rang the bell, but nobody answered. He rang it again and again, but still no one answered. He waited but still no answer.

Finally, this eleven-year-old trooper turned to leave, but something stopped him. Again, he turned to the door and rang the bell and knocked loudly on the door with his fist. He waited, as something seemed to be holding him there on the front porch!

He rang again, and this time the door slowly opened. Standing in the doorway was a very sad-looking elderly lady. She softly asked, “What can I do for you, son?”

With radiant eyes and a smile that lit up her world, this little boy said, “Ma’am, I’m sorry if I disturbed you, but I just want to tell you that *JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU* and I came to give you my very last Gospel Tract which will tell you all about JESUS and His great LOVE.”

With that, he handed her his last tract and turned to leave.

She called to him as he departed. “Thank you, son! And God Bless You!”

Well, the following Sunday morning in church Pastor Dad was in the pulpit. As the service began, he asked, “Does anybody have testimony or want to say anything?”

Slowly, in the back row of the church, an elderly lady stood to her feet. As she began to speak, a look of glorious radiance came from her face, “No one in this church knows me. I’ve never been here before. You see, before last Sunday I was not a Christian. My husband passed on some time ago, leaving me totally alone in this world. Last Sunday, being a particularly cold and rainy day, it was even more so in my heart that I was to the end of the line where I no longer had any hope or will to live. So I took a rope and a chair and ascended the stairway into the attic of my home. I fastened the rope securely to a rafter in the roof, then stood on the chair and fastened the other end of the rope around my neck. Standing on that chair, so lonely and broken-hearted I was about to leap off, when suddenly the loud ringing of my doorbell downstairs startled me.

I thought, “I’ll wait a minute, and whoever it is will go away.”

I waited and waited, but the ringing doorbell seemed to get louder and more insistent, and then the person ringing also started knocking loudly. I thought to myself again, “Who on earth could this be? Nobody ever rings my bell or comes to see me.”

I loosened the rope from my neck and started for the front door, all the while the bell rang louder and louder. When I opened the door and looked I could hardly believe my eyes, for there on my front porch was the most radiant and angelic little boy I had ever seen in my life. His SMILE, oh, I could never describe it to you!

The words that came from his mouth caused my heart that had long been dead, TO LEAP TO LIFE as he exclaimed with a cherub-like voice, “Ma’am, I just came to tell you that JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU.”

Then he gave me this Gospel Tract that I now hold in my hand .

As the little angel disappeared back out into the cold and rain, I closed my door and read slowly every word of this Gospel Tract. Then I went up to my attic to get my rope and chair. I wouldn’t be needing them any more.

You see—I am now a Happy Child of the KING. Since the address of your church was on the back of this Gospel Tract, I have come here to personally say THANK YOU to God’s little angel who came just in the nick of time and by so doing, spared my soul from an eternity in hell.”

There was not a dry eye in the church, and as shouts of praise and honor to THE KING resounded off the very rafters of the building, Pastor Dad descended from the pulpit to the front pew where the little angel was seated. He took his son in his arms and sobbed uncontrollably.

Probably no church has had a more glorious moment, and probably this universe has never seen a father that was more filled with love & honor for his son… Except for One.

Our Father also allowed His Son to go out into a cold and dark world. He received His Son back with joy unspeakable, and as all of heaven shouted praises and honor to The King, the Father sat His beloved Son on a throne far above all principality and power and every name that is named.

GOD Loves You! Heaven is for His people! JESUS died for your sins and paid the price for your sin! He wants to be your LORD! Accept this Gift that God gave you today.

And remember, God’s message CAN make the difference in the life of someone close to you.

Benefits! Everyone wants Benefits! How many people decide whether or not they accept a job or a promotion based on the benefits? All across this country and I guess the entire world companies negotiate with insurance companies to provide the best benefits at the lowest cost possible. Employee’s job-hunt and look for jobs with good benefits. And that is a good thing! I am not opposed to benefits. I like the benefits of the job I do now; I don’t mean just the insurance or 401(k). In my job I travel about 300 miles a day on most days (that’s about average) and that allows me a lot of time to listen to Gods Word being taught! That is an awesome benefit! My Wonderful Wife blessed me last year with an MP3 player and I found that since my vehicle only has cassette and AM/FM that I could use the MP3 just like I had been using my portable CD player. It came with a converter to play it through the cassette. Well, the MP3 will do the same thing. Glory to God, He is so awesome! Anyway, back to benefits; Have you ever thought about all the benefits you have? Now, once again, I am not necessarily talking about your benefits supplied by your employer. Let’s see something God tells us about benefits in His Word:

Psalm 103:1-5 (KJV)
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy
name.

2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits

3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with
lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is
renewed like the eagles.

Lets not forget the Benefits that God has given us. How did He give them to us you may ask? He gave us His Word and He gave us His Son Jesus. As we approach The Celebration of Jesus Resurrection, think about all that was accomplished when Jesus died and went to hell for 3 days and paid our sin debt and purchased our Redemption. Jesus also whipped and stripped the devil of the authority that he had stolen from Adam in the Garden of Eden. Now Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father and is getting ready to come back for His Church.

We got a lot to do in a short time! There are over 5 billion people on this world that do NOT know Jesus as LORD. Jesus didn’t endure all He did so that the devil can have more in Hell than there are in Heaven. He has given us an awesome Benefit Package! Use them to win others to Jesus! If you have never made Jesus LORD of your life and experienced the Benefits of that decision I invite you to do so today; Click on the tab “Are you a Christian” for more information. Have a Blessed Day and remember…JESUS IS LORD!

This blog is different from what I usually write, but it is an issue that needs to be addressed! Proverbs 22:6 tells us to bring up our children right-and so many parents have laid down on the job. Anyway, I hope this will bless you and maybe even make you smile......

A great friend e-mailed me this article today and I thought I would pass it on-This is so true if you stop and think about it! The drug problem in this country could be solved real quick if parents would just put their children on the drugs that we grew up with- read on ….

The other day, someone at a store in our town read that a Methamphetamine lab had been found in an old farmhouse in the adjoining county and he asked me a rhetorical question,

”Why didn’t we have a drug problem when you and I were growing up?”

I replied, “I had a drug problem when I was young”

I was drug to family reunions and community socials no matter the weather.

I was drug to church on Sunday morning. I was drug to weddings and funerals.

I was drug by my ears when I was disrespectful to adults.

I was also drug to the woodshed when I disobeyed my parents, told a lie, did not speak with respect, spoke ill of the teacher or the preacher, or if I didn’t put forth my best effort in everything that was asked of me.

I was drug to the kitchen sink to have my mouth washed out with soap if I uttered a profanity.

I was drug to the homes of family, friends, and neighbors to help out some poor soul who had no one to mow the yard, repair the clothesline, or chop some firewood and, if my mother had ever known that I took a single dime as a tip for this kindness, she would have drug me back to the woodshed.

Those drugs are still in my veins and they affect my behavior, in everything I do, say, and think. They are stronger than cocaine, crack, or heroin; and, if today’s children had this kind of drug problem, America would be a better place. God bless the parents who drugged us!

Recently I received an e-mail from a friend concerning a song that is too “politically incorrect” for most radio stations to play- even though it has been reported that when the group performs the song at live shows they receive standing ovations- Even though it is a song based on the truth about this country and what our Founding Fathers had in mind when they drew up the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution - The old saying that the squeaky wheel gets the grease seems to be alive and well since stations refuse to play it for fear of offending some listeners- People are so afraid of offending someone if they mention God or Jesus- even in a song- People need to hear the truth because our politically correct mindset is slowly but surely sending this country down the tubes so to speak! Give a listen to the song below - feel free to comment me on it because I really want to hear your input and thoughts on it! I have listened to it many times today on media player-just let it loop and play over and over! Also, if you listen to country music I encourage you to call your favorite radio station and request them to play it, and if they won’t, ask them why. Oh, by the way the song, In God We Still Trust, is by Diamond Rio and was recorded in Las Vegas to a standing ovation according to the e-mail.

So which is it? Which do you like more? Sardines or a Rib-eye steak? Too many people today are feeding on “sardines” and crackers when they could be feasting on steak? You may ask, “What do you mean?” What I am referring to is the fact that we have too many Christians who are not walking in the fullness and Blessings that the LORD has for them! They are happy to munch on the crumbs and just barely get by, and let the best go to waste so to speak. Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:” What you don’t know CAN hurt you! Too many people are walking around with sickness in their body and because somebody told them that God was trying to make them a better person, or God was trying to teach them something, or they are just like Job and the LORD turned the devil loose on them, and the list goes on. Well, First of all God doesn’t use sickness to teach you something or make you a better person or to teach you patience like Job. That is all a bunch of junk that the devil has sold mankind into believing! God uses His Word and the Holy Spirit to teach us. He doesn’t sit up in heaven with His big stick waiting to whack you if you mess up either! That’s what I am talking about; Sardines! Too many people are eating the “sardines” and not the “steak”-The Word of God! If you want to see how something works you normally would read the Instruction Manual, right? Well why in the world don’t people read what Gods Word says about sickness and better yet what He says about healing in His Word? Because they have accepted what Brother so and so or Sister whacha-macall-er and listened to their “opinion” instead of the Word! Don’t let others think for you because it could cost you your life. Like I said earlier, what you don’t know CAN hurt you! Ignorance is not always bliss as someone once said! Don’t let the devil trick you into believing a lie- spend time in His Word and find the Promises he has made to you! Receive Jesus as your Savior and LORD and begin a journey that will eventually take you out of this world into Heaven. Don’t feast on sardines and crackers when you can have steak and salad and potato and tea- and a dessert on the side too! If you are Born Again start acting like a Kings Kid! (if you aren’t already) Feast on the Word of God!

Proverbs 4:20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. 24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. 25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. 27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.
It plainly says that Gods Word is life and health to those that find them! Sounds pretty powerful to me. Anyway, I hope this will give you something to think about.

Till next time, Go Wide Open for Jesus and remember, JESUS IS LORD!

Matthew 17:20
