Points to Ponder

God is a Good God! God loves us so much He sent us His Son to redeem us from our lost and hopeless situation! He has done everything He can to give you a life filled with Blessings! BUT…..Too may times God has been lied on! He is not the destroyer and He is not sitting up there in Heaven with His big stick waiting for you to mess up so he can club you! Too many have taught that God is angry with all of us humans- But it is all a lie! Hebrews 11:6 says this- “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
But too many have lied and told others that God is making them sick and stealing their finances and killing their family. Let me ask you something, If God is the one who has put all these terrible things that may be happening to you, then how in the world can you have faith to ask Him to deliver you out of it? If people would just think and read what Gods Word says and take it at face value instead of overlooking Gods Word and taking some mans ideas instead.
Too many are basing their lives on experiences instead of experiencing the life that God has for them. Too many have never experienced the Love of God, the Life of God and the Blessings of God. John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. How much plainer can you get? Who destroys?? Ok, now who gives life abundantly?? Where do you find this?? Who said it?? So if Jesus said it and it is in Gods Word then should we believe it?? Points to ponder……..

Another point to ponder…..for too long people who believe Gods Word and His promises have been labeled as “Name it and Claim it”, “Blab it and Grab it”, “Say it and See it”, “Confess it and Possess it”, and the derogatory comments go on and on and on. Let me ask you something; Who said to speak to the mountain and believe in your heart??? read on-

Mark 11: 22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

23For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

24Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Jesus said these words- so when these people make fun of us “Faith people” who are they making fun of? Now I am sure they don’t mean to be making fun of Jesus, but they are- He said it, its even written in red in certain Bibles…..don’t take my word for it, go read it yourself!
I hope this will give you some food for thought so to speak- if you have not made Jesus LORD of your life ask Him into your heart today-Pray this prayer from your heart and invite Jesus to be your LORD today;

“Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. Your Word says, in Acts 2:21 “Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved”. I am calling on You. I am asking Jesus to come into my heart and be LORD over my life. Romans 10:9-10 says “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Now, I do that and I confess that Jesus is LORD. I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. I am now a new creature in Christ Jesus (2Cor 5:17) and I am now a child of God according to Your Word.”
